To be totally honest with you, I don't know - I am actually waiting as well - although if you look at the now closed thread for June RCOS, many 50-pointers and even 55-points have been refused - so it is likely we both would need to wait until July

I just came across this website as I too was curious why there wasn't any decision yet to be made. Maybe someone can tell me what my points would be. My base is upwards of 80k and not on shortage occupation list.

You likely have 75 points

https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration ... attributes Section: Tier 2 (General) Limit

Have you not heard from your employer? I would follow up as I would assume there was something wrong with your application. As far as this board is aware, applications 60 points and up got accepted; still waiting for official results from the government.

Hi guyz just not to add more confusion, I took my time to read the conversation in the "June 2018 Restricted COS" and compared with the past home office report on Rcos allocation. I believe there is loads of speculations out there. If im not wrong i read on the "June 2018 Restricted COS" chat a 50pts got approved. And here we are 75pts still waiting. Anyway, If possible, could you guyz update this thread if you finally get any response.

Thanks for the clarification. I followed up with my employer and they said my RCOS has been approved. Good luck everyone with your application.

This is my first post here.

Hi everyone!! I got response from HR, refused. I asked how many point we got, but HR did not answer me this question. They will re-apply for July.

As per my understanding, it should be over 59k to be successful case in June. I talked to my boss and he would like to raise my salary, however our solicitor said we already meet the requirement for Tier 2, and told my boss it is no need to be 59k or more to pass Tier 2,then my boss agreed with solicitor. Therefore they might re-apply for July with same salary in June.

I told my boss and my Hr manager my concer of salary, and I show some news like "" the Home Office confirmed that the minimum salary for a job to qualify for a skilled work visa was normally £30,000, or £20,800 for a graduate recruit. However, in December 2017 it was set at £55,000 and in January 2018 tier-2 visa applications for jobs paying less than £46,000 a year were refused unless they were PhD-level roles or were for jobs on the official shortage occupation lists. "" (I am not PhD-level or on the official shortage occupation lists)

My boss, HR and solicitor asked me do not trust the news, do not worry too much.

My question is all the certificates of sponsorship granted in June should be more than 59K no matter their job sector is IT or Finance? I do not understand why solicitor said there is no need to increase my salary, I mean the Minimum point score for successful applications is related to salary and RLMT right?

I wait for Tier 2 visa for few months in my country, I do not know how many month I need to wait. My family asked me when I will come back to UK, I am stressed. I am lossing my hope as our solicitor giving my boss this information. Can someone help me or guide me how to prove the salary is related to get more points? Is there any document or news helpful? I want to convince my boss if we want to get the Tier 2 visa sooner, higher salary might help.

Thanks in advance,
K

One useful link can be:

https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... ponsorship

AFAIK it's an official information about how many certificates were allocated/available for allocation and minimum number of points for specific month to get it. As you can see in May you needed minimum 51 point to get RCOS, in June I think it's even more than 55.

What's your current salary? Your solicitor may be advising against increasing the salary as it's likely to go through with the new rule changes?
