Ow did u have 46 can you explain your breakdown
My basic is 46k and so 20 for RLMT + 26 for salary.
Hey congrats - you are not a campus-select rite? You got it as outside UK applicant rite? Just confirming.
Ohh yes! Absolutely.
You have just provided a sigh of relief for many. There's no 46 points apart from milk round process. Yours is 45 points then. That's wonderful news. Thanks mate.

Likewise!! I know and can completely understand. This was my first attempt and i know the amount of anxiety i had. But yes, in my limited view cut off should be around 40-45 this time.

After grad they'll get this points i.e. 46. Not the salary. Their RLMT is 30 points. So their 26k salary will be 30+16 = 46 points. Hope I've clarified you

Just reading through his posts, it looks like he has some fixed allowances, so maybe not 45.

yes he is saying he has some allowances , tomorrow is a big day for all of us and we will know better if 45 goes through this month , but one thing for sure if not this month , next month the points are going to tumble like crazy , given that 55 was approx 500+ people and 50 was 500 +as well this month it is still appositive result to see them clear, next month the load for higher points will be much lower.
but lets not loose hope it is still early days and good chance for 45 and below to go through this month itself.

I have seen mrUKrobot asking how to calculate the points yeaterday. May be some mistake there might have led him to say 35points.
Well i hope i am wrong and he really has 35 points.
if so that would be so sad! Hope he would appear soon!
I am afraid, it was a miscalculation by him.. he might have scored 35 for his salary band and missed the RLMT score of 20. So most probably it would be 55 points. I don't see any other possibilities of 35 being approved on the first day.
However, I too hope it to be true. !! Waiting to hear from your MrUKrobort
I'm deeply sorry!! I was so excited I mistyped my points. He's correct, I need a total of 55 points, not 35

Hi guys. My first post here.
A little bit of background here, I was originally under Tier 4 General from Nov 2010 until December 2017 (I first did foundation, then Bachelors, then Masters, then a year and half of PHD to last this long), In May 2018 my FLR FP application got refused due and by the time I made a fresh one I was out of date by 3 days due to some unavoidable circumstances (beyond the 14 days they give). When I made my new application my lawyer gave me a load of news starting with how I'm not eligible for switching incountry to Tier 2 anymore because of that overstay, that I'm not exempted from RLMT anymore and I need to now apply for RCoS from outside the UK, and the biggest kicker of all was that my 7.5 years of continuous residency has now been wasted because of those 3 days and I might not be able to qualify for ILR in 2.5 years time unless the case worker is compassionate about my case....so yay for that !!

Funny enough after trying for years (I tried after my Bachelors, Masters and during my PHD) I FINALLY manage to find an employer who unlike other employers is not just willing to hire me only to say no to sponsorship (even if they had a Tier 2 licence), but also someone who is willing to do everything possible to get me a Tier 2, but due to my new circumstances I look into RCoS and I find out that the point requirements have been insanely high from December 2017 onwards. And that means someone like me with no experience is completely out of luck despite having an employer, being in the country for so long and having 2 degrees from UK university and a half finished PHD :P

So here's my question, can someone please explain to me why exactly has the RCoS cutoff jumped so insanely high in Dec 2017? It seemed to have been fixed at 21 for as long as I can see before that even if the NHS jobs were included in the Tier 2 cap. Did some new development happen or something? And I guess there is no hope for me to make a Tier 2 application atm.

Hi Boss,

In nutshell is due to brexit and staff shortages experienced by NHS and other hospitals due to which majority of RCOS are issued to medical staffs. Please google to know in depth details.

Hi guys,

I've 33 points and my employer will be applying for August too. But any of you think that is there a chance to get approved in August with 33 points. Because if August wouldn't be successful, they won't reapply again in September.
