That means its clear now that this month cut-off will be 50 Points.

Approvals will usually come in 1-2 days after HO meeting. After that will be just refusals.
Does 50K salary - non-SOL, non-PHD and non- NHS total upto 50 points assuming valid RLMT?
yes, section 29.18

https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... l_v1.0.pdf

Assuming your salary 50K is all guaranteed and does not have any one time benefits or medical.
Many thanks Anil.

Looks like cut-off will be 46 points, as the applicants between 49 and 46 points are too less and they can be accommodated by borrowing upto 100 certificates from next month, if not enough available. Looking at the FOI information, there will be around 500 applicants at 45 points which may be difficult, but they will go through next month for sure. Next month, I assume cut-off may drop down to 40.
A candidate (ankur1234) has already received an approval @ 45 points!
He has not included other allowances into salary, so his points should be 50 including allowances.

Hi Ankur,

Can you please give us your total salary amount including allowances if any? That will help many of us to breathe easy. Also mention if your job is under skill shortage list/NHS Staff?

Hope you will read and reply.

There is no way you can possible know whether ankur1234 is correctly calculating his/her points, he may or may not be but you cannot tell.

For everyone jumping to conclusions about what the cutoff is, this is again pointless. There has not been a single rejection so far (that has been posted about) so there is literally no information to speculate about. Having an uninformed guess only upsets other people and is not in the slightest bit helpful. There is only a tiny fraction of the total number of applicants on this forum so it is not surprising that after only 2 days news is a bit sparse.

Congrats to everyone who has gotten approved.

Please is there anyone with a graduate job on 48 points?
Hello guys I just got an e-mail saying that my application is approved. Graduate job, 38k salary making it 48 points, this was my third trial. Good luck to everyone waiting.
Congratulations!!! I have a quick question, I am wondering how 38K adds up to 48 points? Thanks!
S/He has 30 points as s/he graduated from UK+ 18 for his salary (~38K annually). Its called Milkround, where the recruiter goes to at least 3 UK universities to recruit students.
Hi, could you please explain how being a UK graduate factors into RCoS?

Cause points gained through Milkround RLMT is unrelated to whether the applicant was a graduate in UK university no? If that person was a UK graduate and transferring to Tier 2 then they won't even need RLMT or RCoS in the first place as they'd be eligible for unrestricted CoS.

Hi guys. My first post here.
A little bit of background here, I was originally under Tier 4 General from Nov 2010 until December 2017 (I first did foundation, then Bachelors, then Masters, then a year and half of PHD to last this long), In May 2018 my FLR FP application got refused due and by the time I made a fresh one I was out of date by 3 days due to some unavoidable circumstances (beyond the 14 days they give). When I made my new application my lawyer gave me a load of news starting with how I'm not eligible for switching incountry to Tier 2 anymore because of that overstay, that I'm not exempted from RLMT anymore and I need to now apply for RCoS from outside the UK, and the biggest kicker of all was that my 7.5 years of continuous residency has now been wasted because of those 3 days and I might not be able to qualify for ILR in 2.5 years time unless the case worker is compassionate about my case....so yay for that !!

Funny enough after trying for years (I tried after my Bachelors, Masters and during my PHD) I FINALLY manage to find an employer who unlike other employers is not just willing to hire me only to say no to sponsorship (even if they had a Tier 2 licence), but also someone who is willing to do everything possible to get me a Tier 2, but due to my new circumstances I look into RCoS and I find out that the point requirements have been insanely high from December 2017 onwards. And that means someone like me with no experience is completely out of luck despite having an employer, being in the country for so long and having 2 degrees from UK university and a half finished PHD :P

So here's my question, can someone please explain to me why exactly has the RCoS cutoff jumped so insanely high in Dec 2017? It seemed to have been fixed at 21 for as long as I can see before that even if the NHS jobs were included in the Tier 2 cap. Did some new development happen or something? And I guess there is no hope for me to make a Tier 2 application atm.
Hi Boss,

In nutshell is due to brexit and staff shortages experienced by NHS and other hospitals due to which majority of RCOS are issued to medical staffs. Please google to know in depth details.

thanks
Cheers I looked into it, seems like an unsustainable model with no foresight. It's affecting NHS right now already, in a few months time it's gonna affect every other sector unless it goes back to normal...and that it has to otherwise it's gonna be quite difficult for business I feel. The sad part about my case is that it's actually a shortage occupation ! (Data Scientist) But only if the position requires 5 years of experience, which I don't have. And while we are at it talk to Brexit, I voted remain man :/

It is a graduate job which I got after my studies last year. Start date is August, so had to apply from outside the UK. Graduate jobs and internships get 30 points + salary 18 points.

Hey everyone,

Just got much RCoS granted. Non SOL, non PHD, non NHS. 3rd attempt.

It is a graduate scheme (graduated from a UK uni last year, but had to apply for RCoS instead of UCoS due to my student visa expiring last September) and my base salary is £36500. Hope this update helps.

Good luck with those who are waiting, and thanks everyone for providing me with a lot of info the past 3 months. It was worth the long, anxious wait.

Hi boss,

Great news, congragulation.

What is your point? Do you have any other allowances other than 36500? Kindly request you to give a revert if you read this message?
if 36,500 is your total salary then your points will be 36 right?

55 points, Non SOL, Non NHS.. Still waiting

HO requested for further documents and my employer submitted them on 10th July. So, Please may I know if my RCOS application will be considered in July allocation? or will it be moved to August?

Please may I know if there are any articles on this forum relating to this and did anyone of you have similar situation
Hi,

I´m in the same situation and waiting with 55 points. I asked my HR about that and the answer was:

"As the HO requested more info, it had to be in by the 10th to enable it to be considered in the July allocation"

The appliocations without requested from HO must be in by the 05th each month.
Hi

Please may I know if you heard back from your employer as my application is still under review status
Hello Boyapap,

No news until now. I think we are done for today! Tomorrow I hope we will heard more news!

Hey.. calm down please...

It seems this is your first post and you joined today itself.

Well, I've joined several months ago and following and reading each and every post since December, 2017 without missing a single one.

Better you go through all the posts and then comment. It's already mentioned in earlier posts that he has missed adding the allowances to his 46k basic pay.

I am always careful in posting here. And based on my 9 months of experience here and the posts from last 3 days, it seems 46 will be cut-off. And it's my smart and calculative guess and not a dumb or speculative one!

If 45 gets cleared this month, it's good for all including me. But, it looks difficult this month as not a single applicant here got approval at 45 points yet and there are so many stuck on this blog with 45 points since December 2017.

As now you can see, we've go 2 people approved with 48 and 46. Next band is 45. To clear this band, atleast 400 certificates should be remaining (Based on HO information that there were 461 applicants refused in this band last month).

People here are confusing the milkround with graduate schemes.

The milkround is a recruitment scheme where the employer visits a minimum of 3 universities for recruitment purposes & complies with the other provisions as someone linked above

Graduate schemes can be advertised anywhere & it doesn’t mean that poster definitely came from a milkround unless they confirm it

They will definitely have a new entrant salary

we must consider that there were 500+ at 50 and another 500+ at 55 , so might be the case that 46 is the cut off but of course next month there won't be a backlog at higher points and the lower points will go through. still early days but so far thats how it looks

Anyone here with an offer from Deloitte?
I'm waiting for my recruiter to confirm if a CoS is approved for my role. I guess I've 55 points including RLMT.
