They will return your passport after they decide on your application, except if you request it which I advise not to.

I have an interview for insurance number on 2/8/18. I got a job but I am unable to start without the insurance #, so they are waiting.

That’s amazing. I think your employer can even call the home office to ensure that you’re eligible to work . That’s what they explained to me over the phone. And once you get hired if you don’t have a bank account Unser your name you can fill the form with any bank details as long as the account number and the sort code are fine . For example you can write your partner bank details and put your name instead of his.

hello guys i was reading your messages i have send my application on last week of june 2018 after 3or 4 weeks they send my application back reason no payment recieved my solicitor said they put the cheque but they took payment already i am so upset why they are doing this now my solictor went for 2 weeks holidays no one cares here for others so long to make the apllication under process so upset from unprofessionals

Thanks for joining us on this forum.

Regarding your payment. I would advise you to send a post that includes the refusal letter you received and a bank statement showing that money was taken from your account and a third letter requesting a refund where you have to state your full name and address and both reference (yours and theirs )numbers you have on the refusal letter . And keep waiting like I’m doing now.
Don’t stress yourself . They are always slow and it may take ages to have your refund.

Therefore. You can still reapply and post your application .

Thanks lallmoh for your reply i will tell my solicitor to do so but he went for holiday and he asked extras 65 apart from his rest off is fee and i have paid that 65 pounds again before he went for holiday he said just pay that amount and someone from office will send your appplication he gave me name to contact this person but that person ignoring me what to do people are so selfish i already paid them thier fees now they treating me like a fish without water after taking moeney they ignoring me they do nt value the time.

No worries sandy. Look what I advise you to do . Send an official email to your solicitor and copy his/her superior and the person he asked you to contact during his absence . And tell them that you’ll report them to the Legal Ombudsman and you are ready to go as far as it takes. Don’t be shy and don’t be friendly . It’s your money and they must do their job . And I’ve never heard about extra fees for same job .
Meanwhile if yo I want to have a proper advise or to reapply by yourself you can always visit the citizen bureau advise and they can fill the application and send it on your behalf for free.
You sound a nice and polite person and this kind of character will be eaten by solicitors easily .

Oh My! I am so excited to hear, I wish you all the best. My interview for NI went quite well I believe. Before you apply for NI. Go on job websites and apply for jobs because you need to show proof of employment or proof of looking for work.

When you apply for jobs online they email you, you need to print the emails and take it to the NI office, you also need spouse passport or ID so if the home office has it request it.

call them now, I had to wait one month for an interview.
