English Language requirement

Hi.I would be obliged if you could answer my query.
I got ILR last year through Tier 2 General route.
I am about to apply ILR for my dependants(spouse and 2 children) this year.
They were granted Tier 2 dependant visa(outside UK) on 11-09-2013 and they entered UK on 26-10-2013.Their current Tier 2 dependant visa is due to expire on 18-09-2018.
Does their qualifying period start from the day they were granted Tier 2 visa or from the day they entered UK?In the previous guidance it was mentioned that the period between entry clearance being issued and the applicant entering the UK may be counted toward the qualifying period, as long as it does not exceed 90 days. The period of delay will not be counted as an absence if it does not exceed 90 days.If the delay is more than 90 days, none of the period between entry clearance being issued and the applicant entering the UK can be included in the continuous period calculation.
According to my calculation, they should be eligible to apply for ILR from 15-08-2018( 28 days before the 5th anniversary of their issuance of entry clearance visa).Is that correct?

I am planning to apply ILR for my 3 dependants via premium service.
My credit card limit is just short of the required fee.
Is it possible to pay the fee from 2 different cards while applying online?
i have never come across this situation before.I don't know if somebody else has been through it.

Simply ask the bank to increase your limit is ok.

But if I were you, I will do separately. Just touch wood if failed, not losing the money of all three but one. And if one is successful, the other should also be successful in the same way, normally.

I think the only way would be to book separate appointments and divide the fee among two different cards.
Another question related to it...
If I decide to apply by post, the application form for spouse will be Set(M) and children(under 18) will be Set(F)... Is that correct or am I mistaken?? I got ILR through Tier2 General Migrant(5-year route) and they have been my dependants throughout there 5 years.

No, those are completely the wrong forms and yes you are mistaken. If they hold PBS dependent visa they MUST apply in form SET O.

I thought Set(O) is only for main applicants.
I must say that these blogs are so useful and the job that you guys are doing is commendable.
Can the ILR visas be applied separately for spouse and children?(premium/post)

Hi.

I am planning to apply for ILR for my Tier2 dependants(wife + 2 children).
I was wondering whether I need to provide any letters for cohabitation along with the application?
So far I have got the following documents to hand:

Council tax Bill
Water bill
Letter from Landlord confirming we are staying together

Also, I will provide other documents as below:
3-months bank statements
Payslips
P60s


P.S: she has got SELT and LiUK certificates.

Anything else you suggest that I need to provide/???

Yes, you need cohabitation documents

Which other documents should I provide?

Tenancy agreements

NHS letters

DVLA letters

HMRC letters

etc etc

You need 2 years worth of evidence from more than 2/3 sources.

My wife has passed GESE Grade 5(CEFR Level B1.1) test from Trinity College London.
We are filling the online application.
Do we need to send the certificate or providing just the Unique reference number would suffice??
