If you are on 41points or above, surely you just need to follow-up with your lawyers. If there is no issues with your application then you should be cleared.

I have a feeling they've made the cut-off at 41p this month and are just reviewing those on 41 and above. Then if there is capacity left then maybe they will offer it to 40p - at least i hope so.
sounds like the most likely case this month. Everyone above 41 will be approved and if there are sufficient leftovers, 40 will be considered.

We had just over 100 in 40 last month, so if borrowing from August is not yet done for this month, 40 might stand a strong chance or it might miss by a whisk.

Surprising that there is no update today. Hope people who get approvals/refusals post their status on the portal.

It seems a very disappointing day for all. If there are no approvals, we can expect refusals tomorrow.
Still hoping to see an approval today.

Having a quick look at the numbers, while doctors and nurses make up 1/3 of all applications, they, in fact, make up a higher percentage of the total granted. Which explains why the points required dropped so low once they were removed. I think over the next couple of months it will drop back to the normal amounts before december where the caps are rarely reached. I would say though that this will prob not be the case until November/December.

Mathematically this doesn't make sense. There is a good breakdown of the numbers that someone posted on page three, likely the points will drop below 30 (if not to 21) next month as the majority of the people stuck were at 45+, with a small group at 35. The rCOS available are still high through August.

Hello All,

When will we know the minimum points for July allocations?
Do you all think minimum points required will come down in future months or will stay high?

You can convince them once the point drops.
