Do you need to submit old passport with other documents?

Post by ka97 » Thu Aug 09, 2018 4:56 am

Hi,

I have an old expired passport whose details are input in the application form. Does this also have to be submitted with the current passport and other documents? There is no travel history with it.

Thanks

Check the summary sheet, which lists all the required evidence.

UK Education provider vs overseas Higher education institution

Post by ka97 » Thu Aug 09, 2018 10:38 am

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I have another question.

In the finances section of Visa4UK form, if advance fees are paid then which is the correct option to select?

1. Yes, paid to UK education provider
2. Yes, paid to overseas Higher Education Institution

I have paid advance deposits directly to the University.

It depends whether the university you have paid is in the UK (1) or in another country (2).

Thank you. While my University is in Scotland, UK, I asked the same question to the International Student Advisor team at my uni. They are saying to choose 2nd option just because the University is a Higher Education Institution. I'm not sure if this is right and I'm doubting that option.

So UK education provider is the correct answer then?

How odd.

Whatever you answer has no bearing on the outcome of the application, although I do think your university has misunderstood the question and/or answer.

I feel the same. If it doesn't adversely affect the application, I will choose UK education provider, since it does seem like the sensible option. Thank you for your insight.
