August 2018 restricted Cos - PLS DO NOT POST VISA APP RELATED QUESTIONS HERE!!!

Post by amit2453 » Wed Aug 08, 2018 10:22 pm

Has anyone got request to submit additional documents for August allocation. I am ICT dependent already working and employer applying for RCoS and they were asked by HO (1st Aug by email) to submit my existing contract, payslips, p60 etc. Never heard if they ask for such documents as they should consider new hire.

Could someone tell if they are right to ask for such information. I am not sure how they now I am already working as in application I don't think we specify this.

Good luck to every one of you. I’ve been here with 39 points since December 2017. A long few months.

It’s been almost a year since my job search started. A year that one’s life has been on hold, living in limbo - reality and the dream of your future.

Hi,

I am 45points, applying since Feb.

I hope many people who has 35-40 points will get the good news in August even below !

I am wondering what you guys expect in this month cut off point?

I don't know how to estimate based on the home office official result in July.

https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... ponsorship

Another question is as I understand the annual quota is released in two time per year and October will be released the annual quota, am I wrong ? If I am correct then September will be less chance to get the certification ???

Thanks
Good luck for everyone.

Hi all,

I have a question here, I am reading the T2 policy guideline and found below description about language requirement,

You will be awarded 10 points if you are applying for leave to remain under Tier 2
(General), Tier 2 (Sportsperson) or Tier 2 (Minister of Religion) and you meet the
requirements of one of the categories listed below:
• you are a national of a majority English speaking country; or
• you hold a degree that was taught or researched in English which must be equivalent
to a UK Bachelors degree or above; or
• you have passed an English language test at the appropriate level; or
Tier 2 Policy Guidance (Version 07/2018) Page 38
• you have met the English language requirements when given a previous grant of
leave; or
• you qualify under the transitional arrangements.

So I have a master degree from a university in England, do I have this 10 points? My salary is 30K, does this make my points 40pts? RLMT + Salary + language?

Thank you!

This is for your visa. There is a post on page one with a chart that let's you know how the points breakdown works.

For RCoS allocations, it is ONLY points for RLMT and Salary. The English points is for when you have the RCoS and apply for your actual visa.

Please do not ask visa application questions in this topic.
