Unpaid leave under compassionate grounds

Hello everyone,

I am currently in the UK under Tier 2 General. It expires in November 2020.

What are the conditions for unpaid leave under this category? Does anyone know about leave under compassionate grounds? (Unwell family). My research suggests there is 4 weeks per calendar year. Does this mean I could take Dec 2018 and Jan 2019 consecutively? Would there be any other way to extend this?
