Applying for a passport after naturlisation

hi all,

Good news my wife was accepted today for naturalisation. We only applied online without use of any of the other services .

We want to apply for a passport now and one of the questions on the passport application is if you have your naturalization certificate number, which we don't yet. however it let me continue the application.

Can I apply for a passport without attending the ceremony?

You can only apply for a passport after the ceremony. She is not British until she attends the ceremony.
