I guess every one waiting the invitations checking the post regulary each morning same as like me :)
Invitations will be sent 4 to 5 weeks ahead of the date of ceremony, that would be the last week of October.

Exactly what I'm doing but then letters to Northern Ireland arrive three days after date of issue so I'm counting on some of you Republic-based candidates to report your invitations ASAP so I know when to *really* look! :D

Waiting on the invite here in NI too. Got approval in August. Will post as soon as that brown envelope (has always been the colour their correspondence comes in) drops through the letter box. We’ve booked a hotel in Killarney for the date but don’t want to really jinx it by telling anyone or making concrete travel arrangements until it’s all confirmed!

Hey guys, do you know how long it takes to hear from them after it's been sent to the Minister?

They're probably waiting to approve everything at once. Don't think they'd be doing it file by file, but in a pile/all at once instead

sent them bank draft and garda card 3 weeks ago, today they sent garda card back and ask to send them garda card which should be valid on the date of ceremony, my garda card is expiring on 11th November and ceremony is on 26th November, i assuming they want me to renew visa and send them new garda card.

you'll have to renew your GNIB card to be valid on the day of the ceremony I'm afraid. it's a shame you'll spend 300 euros for just a couple of weeks, that really sucks. so am i correct in thinking that they send you the approval letter knowing that your GNIB card will expire before the ceremony?

I was told in immigration office that you don't have to update your GNIB and pay 300eur. They will put stamp to your passport and that's it
