Travelling to India but Baby passport not yet arrived

Hi all,

We are all Indian citizens and travelling to India on October 23rd, my baby passport has not yet arrived from the Indian consulate in UK, applied on 8th October. Will the Indian embassy be willing to offer an emergency passport or travel certificate for us to travel? Our trip is very important!!

All your expert advice will much appreciated!!
