NON-EU vs EU Naturalization application processing time

I apologize if a similar topic is already available, I posted this topic as I personally could not locate one.

There is a perception and are some facts/proofs that NON-EU applications take longer to process to the decision that the EU application.

Further about the topic:

1. Any thoughts. views and proofs will be greatly appreciated.
2. If one agrees, what factors cause the delay in NON-EU?

I have submitted my application on 13/10/2018

Yesterday i have collected my docs from post office with approval letter...so it took me 25 days in total)
