https://visas-immigration.service.gov.u ... l-document
is it fist time u applying TD if yes why u did not apply before applying ILR?
its unlikely u can get TD without ur Original BRP so my advise just wait,i know its easy to say but simly think many people still waiting many months even years more than u.

The user has applied for ILR visa tier 1 General route and not set P etc. Unlikely he can get a TD or leave the UK while application is in process.

Hey, I got you. I don’t understand why Homeoffice is giving different people different times. This doesn’t seem right to me. I myself haven’t received the acknowledment letter as yet and it has been 2 months today. Fingers crossed you will get your TD by the end of this week 🤞🏻
Hi Sani

We have to stay up in LIMBO for lifelong [Waiting periods:2+,5+,7+,9+,15+Years ,or,45+,98+Yrs of waiting?]
Thr needs to be a limit for holding applications-Periods.
If BRP/Passport has expiry date then life has an expiry date thus there should be LIMIT for waiting periods mentioning NOT more than 5yrs.....at the Max.

Hi all,

Here's my timeline and if someone has been through something similar would be good to hear your thoughts:

Applied online 5th Nov 18
Posted app 7th Nov 18
HO received app 8th Nov 18
Acknowledgement letter received 17th Nov, dated 14th Nov 18

Due to an emergency and the need for my new TD by 12th Dec I contacted and emailed HO with documentary evidence on 20th Nov 18 and on 21st (next day) I received an email back saying "thanks for your request to expedite your application for TD, your application will be passed to caseworker in due course for consideration". Can anyone elaborate please, does this mean I can expect it soon or it's a reply everyone in a similar scenario gets??? I really need my TD so I can make this emergency trip.

Thanks
