Documents not returned

hello all,
My partner and child applied for the Tier2 extension. they received their BRP not week. still no sign of Documents.
I filled the online form for return of documents no response so far.

I never had this situation.
Is this common for return of documents to be delayed for so long?

no. usually document first then BRP.
