Email confirmation for submitted scanned documents

Hi there, and thanks to all who have been posting helpful information on this board.

I am applying for a Tier 2 visa and was asked to submit an additional scanned police certificate to the Sheffield office. Others have mentioned receiving an automated response after doing so indicated their document has been linked with their account. I did not receive this automatic confirmation email.

I had run into some issues getting this document, and had written an email to the Sheffield Documents address informing them of this. Immediately after I sent that email I got a confirmation.

The lack of a confirmation email this time, with the document attached, has me slightly worried.

I'd appreciate if anyone could share their experiences on this matter. Thanks!
