Hello CROO1and other members, thank you for the help you did for many pèople in this board. I really need help please i have a permanent resident since 2015 but before that i used to work with a bad quality french passport(fake) since 2006 with all my details name date of birth not someone else details,now when i had my permanent residence i di continue with the same job because it was in my name did not release it will be a problem i can just provide my BRP and it will be no problem.the HR report me to the police and the police contacted me for interview and i did plead guilty and told them the truth after that they took my finger print and gave me simple caution not been to court now how this will affect my PR or settlement scheme or cityzennchip your help will be appreciated

hello members o really need your help.
In 2006 i was in the country with no right(overstayer) until i got married to EEA citizen in 2010 and got my permanent resident in 2015.before that i worked with fake french passport from 2006 till 2018 because i used my own details for the french passport and i never realised it will be a problem after having PR i could just continue because everything is in my name DOB and french passport expire more than 10 years ago HR never ask to update my passport until 2months ago police contacted me for interview and i told them the truth and they gave me a caution, now this will impact my PR .SETTLEMENT SCHEME OR CITYZENCHIP

It is unlikely that you will qualify for citizenship anytime soon.

1. At the earliest only in 2020, 10 years from the date you married your EU spouse.

2. You could still face refusal for working illegally.

3. You could also still face a refusal for using f a k e passport and with the police now knowing about, it could impact you for a few years.

What about EEA settlement SCHEME from march 2019 will i be refused as well for the caution please help

You already hold PR, why would you apply for settled status when you already have it??

i read from freedom of movement that between MARCH 2019 and DEC 2020 permanent resident holders must exchanged to settlement status and RC holders to pre-settlement

Morning CROO1,OBi and other senior members I did post something yesterday regarding EEA settlement after having PR between MARCH 2019 and JUNE 2020 that everyone from EEA and their family members regardless PR orCR must apply for settlement scheme and like I said yesterday I had a police caution few month ago how this will affect my settlement after brexit i already hold PERMANENT RESIDENT CARD SINCE 2015.thanks again and please help

Hi CROO1 i know i have PR but under settlement scheme i have to exchaged to settlement status because PR will not be valide after the UK leave the EU

Yes for settled application Applicants are required to provide information about previous criminal convictions in the UK and overseas, and are only required to declare past criminal convictions which appear in their criminal record in accordance with the law of the State of conviction at the time of the application.

All applications are subject to a check against the Police National Computer (PNC) and the Warnings Index (WI).
