Hi just need some clarification regarding my wife visa she came in 2014 in the UK, 2017 I applied flrm visa extension which was successful I have two UK born children , currently on working tax and child tax credits, my hours vary from 37 hours to 28 throughout the year , she has also done A2 English test back in 2017,

Now what I need to know is , do I need to apply for flrm extension again and what English test is required , currently on the 5 year route,probably gonna struggle to meet the threshold next year, her visa expires 2019 August

If she meets the requirements. B1 English and financial, she can apply for Indefinite leave to remain within 28 days before reaching 60 months.

She done life in UK test already well back in 2016, just the confusion what to apply for, as I thought it had to be one more extension , I gotta stop my child and working tax right as well? As I'm hoping to get another job so I be doing two jobs

You can claim tax credits as long as you are claiming it in JOINT names with your spouse.

If she has been here for 5 years in 2019 as spouse of settled person visa, she applies for ILR on Set M if she meets all the requirements.

Thanks for clear swift responses much appreciated , I like to know if I was to apply for ilr ,my wife is going to Pakistan this January coming 19 , for her brother wedding for atleast 5 weeks will this affect application process ,prior to that she not been back to Pakistan or left the UK since she arrived here I 2014, her Visa expires early August 2019

Nearly time for her I presume ilr , only worry I got is I claim child and working tax , I know my working has now stopped due to my April 19 2020 tax year income increased 20,800 with my two Jobs combined ,will this still effect my wife ilr application In July, we are claiming as a couple
