Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 General Dependent

Hi,

I want to transfer from the Tier 2 ICT visa to my partner's Tier 2 General Dependent visa.

Both of us have been in the UK for more than a year.

How do I initiate the process? Do I need to do it online? Or do I need to ask her to ask her firm to initiate the process? Is there any difference to it?

I have the list of documents required, but not really on the initiation. Her firm is a Grade A firm, so not sure, if I should let them do it, in case having a good company name on the application, has a difference.

No need to 'bump' your topic after only 40 minutes. We are all unpaid volunteers and the forum is not an 'on demand' service.

You apply online. Her sponsor has nothing to do with your dependent application. You would be dependent on your spouse not the sponsoring company.

Apologies, as I didn't intend to bump my post, just wanted to make it more personable. Sorry it came off as the other.

I had one more question, I have gone through the list of the documentation required, one of which, is the "Sponsor Letter from the spouse".

What is this letter exactly? Can some shed light or refer a link for reference?
