Hi friends,

Do we need to fill VAF9a and VAF9b as the Tier 1 application form, or these are used while we apply for the EC, pls clear my doubt, as am about to fill the form within a day or two.

I think it should be VAF9A and VAF9B for applications from India.

Best to check with VFS, or maybe, wait for others to confirm.

 Don't go through the link .... read carefully what is written there.

Applicants in India should complete all questions on the forms for both self-assessment and personal details. These can be downloaded from the VFS website.

Now which forms are available on the VFS website???

Gosh .

The VFS website says that we need to fill up the following form.

You must fill in the form using a black or blue pen.

VAF9A
VAF9B - There are guidance notes for completing VAF 9
Guidance for completing VAF9B

So, can i presume here, that am correct and VAF 9a and VAF 9b is the application that i need to fill for Tier 1.

If you presume that you're "highly skilled", then you can also assume that these are the forms that you should use.

Thomas Alva Edison was 'highly skilled' still he was insisting for having two holes in his room so that his cat and kitten can move in and out and not trapped inside .

I think you'd have got the point if you had read the post from the beginning.

And yes, Edison wanted one hole for the cat and the other for the kitten, so that both of them had their own passage to freedom.
