Employer letter SETM clarification

Hi,

The online form suggests that we will need to provide the employer letter with the following details:
1. (i) the person’s employment and gross annual salary;
2. (ii) the length of their employment;
3. (iii) the period over which they have been or were paid the level of salary relied upon in the application; and
4. (iv) the type of employment (permanent, fixed-term contract or agency)

Can somebody clarify what does point 3 iii means? Does this represent salary for last 6 months? Or does this reflect one line statement from the company highlighting that the annual salary has been paid from so and so time.

Please advise.

So if you are relying on a salary of £xxxx.xx in your SET(m) application then your employer needs to state how long have you been paid that amount.

The same salary is mentioned in my employment contract. Do you think it will still be required? I will then chase the employer.

An employer letter is mandatory and they should specify the period of the paid salary relied upon.
