Spouse dependent visa

Hi,
I am on student tier 4 visa and my spouse is also in uk with tier 4 that is due to expire on 21st of january.
My one month statement will complete on end of december so she is planning to apply on first week of january for her tier 4 dependent visa..
Someone told me its late she should have applied 5-6weeks before..What should i do?

Also should i attach CAS letter or my BRP in my dependent application?

Like all applications, there will be a summary sheet listing what evidence is needed.

I don't know where you are looking, but it is in a very logical place on the gov.uk Home Office website. The relevant page is also the first result if you do a Google search for "Tier 4 dependant form".
