All finished. Received my Italian partners EEA QP card with my decision letter and documents.

33 days from start (application posted) to finish (documents back), the wait times have been steadily coming down but I also think its about collating as much quality documentation and a good cover letter... the forum has been a great source of information.

We had given another address (not our home address) as the correspondence address so the last 2 dates could be slightly different. However we picked up our post on 7 December 2018 and found our documents/passports and my husband's residence card in it (both in separate letters/packages).

Still can't believe how quick everything was! it took about 1 month, that's insane! I was prepared for 6 months and expected to wait for at least 3 months. We are overjoyed :D good luck to everyone! Seems like recent applications on this forum have all been processed very fast.

I would also like to mention that I only submitted 2 pay slips as I'd only been working for 2 months in my new job in the UK at the time of our application. Together with a letter from my employer as mentioned in the form. We arrived on 29 August 2018 and I started working on 3 September 2018.

EEA FM application (non eea married to eea)

Application posted on: 10th December 2018
Received by UKVI/HO on: 11th December 2018
Confirmation Email: 18th December 2018
Payment taken on: 12th December 2018
Bio letter received on: 20th December 2018

Passports returned: N/A
COA With Work: 3 January 2019
COA With Work dated on: 30th December 2018
Documents Returned on: 15th January 2019
Documents Returned dated on: 12th January 2019
Resident Card Received on: expecting in coming 10 working days from 12th January 2019

Time taken for the application roughly took a month during the Christmas and New Year holiday.

From my experience to have a higher chance to get your application to be approved, strictly follow the guidance note from the official website and just submit all the needed supporting documents. I literally printed all my chat logs that I have with my wife from fb messenger (from 2015-2018) and WhatsApp (2017-2018), all together 5000 pages and I know it sounds insane but just do it because this gonna help to have a smooth submission.
