Non-EEA with Retained Rights of Residence and no ex-ID.
The application was rejected the first time (because of ID), so I submitted again explaining better on the cover letter. This time has been accepted (as I already got the Biometric letter).

Hello everyone, I would like to share my experience. I just received my Permanent residence today.
Application submit- 10th December
Payment taken- 12th December
Biomatric given -3th January
PR granted- 11th January
Got letters and passport back- 14th January
BRP Card received- still waiting.
It’s a bit strange that I got the decision within 1 month.

Very important to mention my retained rights was refused twice last year. So I applied for PR directly.
Best of luck to everyone

Md islam

Non-EEA PR application+EEA spouse PR application for change of name (spouse already had PR card).

I used the EPRS as I needed my passport to travel, so I had to send my wife's application (EEA sponsor) for a new card together with mine, stating change of name as the reason for her new application.

I applied a month before my 5 years permanent residence qualification. My current EEA2 residence card expires on 24 March 2019, date of wedding in the UK 6 January 2014.

Application submitted online:9 Dec 2018
Payment taken: 9 Dec 2018
Confirmation email: 10 Dec 2018
Supporting documents sent via EPRS: 10 Dec 2018
Documents received by HO: 11 Dec 2018
Biometric letter received: 18 Dec 2018 (dated 12 Dec 2018)
Biometric details submitted: 18 Dec 2018
COA received: 28 Dec 2018 (dated 22 Dec)
Documents received: 16 Jan 2019 (with approval letters dated 7 Jan 2019)
PR card for EEA received: 16 Jan 2019
PR card for Non-EEA received: 25 Jan 2019 (issued 21 Jan 2019)

So it all took about a month and half...
Best of luck :D
