Invalid application/ break in lawful residence?

Post by amdissa » Mon Jan 07, 2019 5:34 pm

Hi everyone,

Please I need an advice on my situation. I am due to apply for 10 year ILR in June 2018 but there has been a time (within my immigration history) where I feel my continuous lawful residence may have been broken due to an invalid application.

I applied for an SAR and received the SAR today and even though it gives a lot of information on my situation but it still does not specify whether there has been an extended break in my history.

Here is my timeline.

Arrived UK 26/04/2008
Made a number of applications after my arrival which were valid.
Made my first FLR (FP) application: 13/05/2015, Expired 11/12/2017
Made my second FLR (FRP) application: 04/12/2017, Rejected as invalid due to payment could not be taken. Refection letter sent 20/02/2018
Reapplied for FLR(FP) 27/02/2018: Granted Leave 21/06/2018.

My 10 years residence in the UK will be complete on 26/04/2018.

As I look to try for ILR, does anyone think that there could have been a break in my lawful residence?

Here is also some information from the SAR (relevant timeline)

1) First Application

new application has been submitted on 27/02/2018, with the payment going through.
as such, the rejection decision has been maintained
