Hi,
I received my documents earlier to decision letter but passports were enclosed too. Then decision letter was sent and finally BRP arrived. Stay positive. I have heard if decision is against u, they retain passports until u make new application or if u decide to leave country they deliver passport at airport.
Have u received anything by now

But people already have ILR / PR, so they should be allowed to stay even if not approved British Citizenship?

Pls check what sub forum a topic is in before posting incorrect advice as above, which is NOT relevant to British citizenship applications!!!

hellow, zid01,u dont need to worry about it,in my opnion they r still working on it to make final decision or just typing ....just wait for few more days. Also send them email asking did u send me(ask about u) any document/s, because my decision letter and other documents were lost when they did post.So when i sent them email to ask about updates then they told me they already sent letter nearly 1 month ago,i was shocked so called them and explain everything, lady over the fone told me different dated on decision letter but the dated on letter was quite different when i received it.Any way,if they has sent your wife and kids documents back so it means their approvals r on the way.In ur case just wait and send them email regarding your case updates.

Received Home Office letter late pls help

Post by zid01 » Wed Jan 09, 2019 7:03 pm

Hello,
I received a letter from home office today asking for more evidence by 08/01/2019, today is 9th letter says if i dont send evidence by 8th Jan they will refused my application. I am really tensed as date is gone.

How can i contact my caseworker as there is no email Id or his phone number how can i explain that i received his letter on 9 Jan and i need at least 1 week to get the evidence, as i have been asked for evidence of date that i acquired Portugal Nationality. Actually i dont know what evidence should i send as i dont have anything except my passport and Identity card, i got my nationality through my father as we are from Goa India and we are eligible to register our birth so once we register our birth than we apply for Portugal Nationality .

Please Please Reply Guru'S and Moderators, Experts

one more thing if any one from Portugal have knowledge if i go to Portugal Consulate tomorrow morning will the give me Assento de Nascemento (Birth Registration Certificate) or do i have to take appointment.

Thanks
