UKVCAS biometric date same day / next day service

Dear members

I have read the UKVCAS website and they say that there is an opportunity for same day or next day biometric appointment after the application submission. Does anybody has got any idea about the process? Do they charge more fee if we have to apply for biometric for same day?

I am interested in GLasgow area. Not sure how quickly we are getting an appointment nowadays.

Please advise with your experience.

It depends on the area, centre you choose, time of the day you want, day of the week you want.

Appointments are from free to (I guess)£250.

When you reach to the booking stage you will see all nearest centres to your postcode and all available appointments there, once click on the the appointment prior to finalise it, it will tell you the cost so you can make a fully informed decision. There is also a tab on the booking page which says click for free appointments so once clicked system will only show you free appointments, availability will depend on the above mentioned factors.

Yes I went for next day appointment. Its £60 extra. The system will tell you if there is any availability for that in your nearby centres.

I went to london premium lounge so I paid a total of £260 (£200 for premium lounge and £60 for next day) but the other nearby centres did not have any next day availability so it really depends what availability your nearby centres have.
