Tier 2 Rejected New COS

Good afternoon

I just got my Tier 2 Visa rejected because of the English requirement. I now plan to go take the IELTS test. Do you know how long will it take to get a new COS? I am worried my sponsor will not wait for me. Do they have to go through the whole process to get a new COS?

Is this for a Restricted CoS for applying outside the UK??

Thank you for your help! I did read the requirements but my sponsor told me to apply but the Visa was rejected because I did not have the IELTS test. Now I will take the test but to reapply I need a new COS Number. Do you know how long it tales to ger a new COS Number?

Yes, it is a Restricted COS applying from outside UK.

It has to be requested and go through the monthly RCoS allocation meeting HO holds once a month. So if your sponsor puts in the request anytime in the next week, it will go into the February allocation meeting for approval/rejection decision.
