It should show you in your account which you made on Sopra's website to book an appointment.

Somebody posted under the topic "in country application" using new service with standard and got the decision quite quickly within few days..impressive

This was the first post I have read using standard service, not sure whats the reason for such a long wait for others

Over 7 weeks but haven’t heard anything yet. Guy who posted on ‘In country timeliness’ and got decision very quick was for Tier 4 to Tier 2 switch and not Tier 2 extension.

Hi Ariff21,

I have applied for my wife extension using priority service (10 days Service) and still haven't heard any thing from them so far.

Application submitted - 13th Dec -2018
Biometric done :- 22 Dec - 2018

Called UKVI Contact center twice but they just said that you need to wait.

Wish I had applied before October before this new service started :)

If anyone has got any confirmation email or letter please share your experience.

Regards,
Raj

Hi Rajendrababu,

Not heard anything yet. I have still not finished full 8 weeks yet though.

If it is more than 8 weeks for you then you should ring HO. If you have already rung, what did they say?
