Exact same case than my partner.

I didn’t see the need to start a new thread, as this is not really a time line for settled or pre settled status applications time lines. Still not clear on this to be fair as so many questions to ask due to 2 sub categories issues here;

1 - EEA citizens with already DCPR & their family non EEA permanent resident holders.

2. - EEA citizens without DCPR but have 5 years qualifying period and with Non EEA EEA family members with PR or Resident cards.

Questions are so many;

For those already have DCPR(EEA) and PR (Non EEA) do they receive another form Settled document documents or Another Biometric PR cards?! What abt those PR (Non EEA)cards issued recently discard them or return them?!

Another question is also to those don’t have DCPR will they issue them different as above question or same.

I guess it s a pilot and let’s wait first.

I have the feeling the HO don't know what to do with me.

My EU partner and I applied through the app on Jan 21st, first him, then me, I included his application number in mine (linked them), and we both got informed our application would be considered for Settled Status. We both got CoA immediately, on the same day.

Within 48 hours, he got his confirmation of Settled status. I'm still waiting. I have a biometric RC as his extended family member, and I've got more than 7 years of NI records in the UK.

Here's my timeline:

2009-2011: Tier 4 Student visa (1.5 years)
2011-2013: Tier 1 Post Study Visa (2 years)
2013-2016: Tier 2 Employer-sponsored Work Visa (3 years)
2016-2021: EEA RC (valid for 5 years, but lost in 2018)
2018-2023: EEA RC (valid for 5 years, replacing lost card above) - (effective 3 years 2016 - 2019)

In theory I should have been given Pre-settled status immediately, as I have had a RC card for 3 years and we attached my application to my partner, but this hasn't happened. Wonder why. I thought the HO would have all info they need?

Or... I'm thinking they don't know what to do with me, because the app decided to submit me as Settled status (I have NI records since I started working, so, since 2013, circa 7 years), yet I only have 3 years on the EEA RC (in theory qualifying me only for pre-Settled status).

Anyone in a similar position (non-EU family member, holder of biometric RC) has had any confirmation of status, or know how long this takes after their EU family member has had theirs?

I haven't got replied yet from HO. When I submited my application the app asked me to provide evidence for my relationship. Which is NOT really required in my case as I have PR. So I tick the option "I cannot provide the proof". I think that's why I haven't got any reply yet.....

When did you start your relationship with my partner? And when did you apply for RC?

It also asked me to provide proof, but again that should NOT be required as I have a BRC (it clearly says evidence is required if an unmarried partner does not have BRC). I was tempted to tick the "I cannot provide proof" but instead I just uploaded two files with scanned copies of the two BRC I've had as unmarried partner. That's the only "proof" I have. Same outcome as you anyway, no response yet.
When did you start your relationship with my partner? And when did you apply for RC?
Relationship started April 2012, living together since September 2013, Applied for BRC September 2015, Got BRC February 2016.

I do not think they have started processing the Settled Status applications for non-EU. I have been married to my wife for over 7 years now and should get settled status but both of us applied on the 21st late evening and she received her's 23rd first thing in the morning and I haven't received anything. All we can do is wait for now.

I am in exact situation with you. I haven't clicked submit yet as still need to scan more evidences. The app said that I should be considered for settle status as I have record of 6 years working on my NI, but Im only on non EU family member for 3 years. Please let me know how it go with your case, so I can prepare.

Hey Kamoe, glad you were able to apply in the test phase.
The non-EEA people I know are waiting for an answer, having applied on 21/22. Others I've seen posting on Twitter/FB forums are also waiting, having applied more or less at the same time.
Guessing the HO is taking more time on non-EEA applications - probably giving easy cases to less experienced staff, and more complex one to senior caseworkers.

Both me and my partner applied on 23rd(both PR holders). System asked to provide evidence of relationship. I know I didn't have to, but after numerous attempts I managed to attach both passport, pr and marriage certificate photos with my application. Hope it won't take long for a positive answer.

Update - first case I've heard of a non-EEA citizen being granted Settled Status today, on another forum.

Applied - 21/1
Granted Settled Status - 29/1
Comments - Already had PR.

Given person already had PR, it probably is one of the more straightforward non-EEA applications to process.

I currently have a RC as the extended family member of my EEA partner.

We both applied on the 21st Jan. He was granted settled status 24h after submitting his application (22nd Jan). I received my COA on the 21st as well but just received an email today (29th Jan) saying that my application has been submitted. Has anyone else received this as well? It is odd that I applied on the 21st but just received this email today.
