Signatures on referee declaration form

Post by Nightingale_7 » Sun Jan 27, 2019 9:30 am

Hi All, morning. The referee declaration form says “both referees need to sign both forms”. I don’t know if this is a silly question but does that mean both referees will need to sign each of the forms? I.e., I will print out two copies of the form and both of them will have to be signed by both of my referees? Or do each referee sign one copy of the form, separately?

Thanks for your help.

British citizen referee travelling till April?

Post by Nightingale_7 » Sun Jan 27, 2019 9:47 am

Hi,
My BC referee is travelling for work outside the UK till April. He is going to sign the declaration form and send through. Do you think this will be a problem? He won’t technically be a UK resident for the whole time during application processing.

Each referee must sign one copy of the form.

It's irrelevant. No requirement for them to be "resident" during your application.

If HO is not happy with the referee, they will ask you for another one.
