All this talk about decision time on visa applications taking 60 business days etc is nonsense unless there are issues within the paperwork itself, employment etc.

I know some people who had a response after approximately 4 weeks (including weekend) without even paying for priority service and yes it was a positive outcome
It depends HUGELY on where the application was submitted as different countries have different waiting times for visa processing. Certain countries have longer periods of processing due to various reasons.

All were Pakistani my friend

Imo it depends on cases which are straightforward and others which are not.

For example, if your someone who has got two jobs with obscure companies or two jobs + savings, made insufficent visits to meet spouse or has insufficient proof of contact i.e anything which causes home office to carry out more checks or request further information then of course it will take longer

On the flipside, if you are relying on one job or using one job plus savings and the job is with a recognised employer to go along with visits to meet spouse and sufficent proof of contact, i.e have a more clear application then it should not take 60 plus days for a decision to be made imo

Hello
I was told a decision was made on the 14th January still awaiting it ( from call center )
However I applied priority with spousal and dependant.
I have not received the link for ihs for my daughter , do I take this as a sign it's not be granted or has anyone else been approved without payment of ihs?

Really getting worried and more frustrated as if a decision was made on the 14th January and it wasn't approved surely it doesn't take over two weeks to send a letter of decline back?

Trying to remain positive but this has been such a nightmare of a process so far

Thanks Carryn
