Yes, this likely is a refusal and highly likely due to your financial requirement not being met if you applied based on salaried basis and not the non salaried basis as you were advised to.

Your employer letter stating you earn a basic salary below the HO threshold doesn't help either.

immigration-for-family-members/uk-spous ... l#p1642604

p.s. you really should (ideally and preferably) continue in your existing topic to avoid duplicating what you have already posted previously, as you risk your posts simply getting 'lost' in this long running 270 page topic.
I did not apply based on salaried basis. My solicitor worked out the calculations via the non salaried basis and sent a cover letter along with the application with his calculations. I also showed cash savings which would have made up for some of the remaining short fall. I only proceeded with the application as I was told by an Immigration Solicitor that he could not see a reason why my application would be refused. Clearly he was wrong and yes I agree if there is anything that would have refused my application then I also do feel it has something to do with the financial requirement but I need to wait for confirmation.

If you check my last post on that topic you can see that I asked a question and no one responded to it so I took it from there that the post was dead. Also I am not duplicating anything as my post is about a decision that has been made and not about me asking for guidance prior to my application. You can also see that I have bee posting on this topic about waiting for a decision and have now gave an update on the outcome.
Ok i have read that thread

Contrary to what anyone else says, your letter of employment must include your gross annual income. Its standard.

I do not agree with CR001 on this occasion sadly
Where exactly did I state the letter should NOT state income at all?? Read what I posted again, in context!! Basic Salary = £18,270
He was using salaried and non salaried income so once again no harm mentioning that his basic salary is below the threshold
I hate everyone!

:( oh dear. Hope you they overturn the decision. Please keep us posted.

Yah I waited over a year for a decision and then when I got one was refused. But hoping they overturn as it wqsnt our fault. Will keep u all updated once we get some sort of decision
I hope they do. Its very long time. Where have you applied from and what was the reason of refusal if you dont mind me asking.

Hi I applied from Pakistan for husband. Well before we start UK Visa we had started a Ireland Visa which took 1 year but got no response from then so we withdrew it and we have an email stating we withdrew it. And when we applied for UK Visa there was a question asking if he had been refused any Visa including UK. We said no because as far as we knew we hadn't. And home office said that he had been refused Ireland Visa. They showed us a date where they said he had been refused visa. But 5 days before that date we emailed Ireland saying we want to withdraw our application because we wanted to start UK visa. And 5 days after email we got our passport back for husband
So now I'm confused we answered the question honestly as this is how we saw it. Now we think if we appeal it and show them the email that we sent they my reconsider there decision and maybe overturn it but I don't know yet. I don't want to start a new application because it my just take another year for them to make a decision like this one did. So rather appeal it as we r not in wrong. And also we have a disabled daughter who misses her dad dearly so we will mention her illness in it too. Explaining how she has a heart problem and needs her dad by her side. Now u tell me were we wrong ?

I dont know how you did it but hats off. Its the wait that kills and urs being a year is, dont know what to say. They did that wrong. I would recommend you to appeal against the decision rather then apply all over again. And make sure you include a detailed letter to explain the error. Include all the correspondence regarding Ireland visa application you had off them. Also the email you sent to withdrawal of application, i would also recommend you calling the visa place where you submited the application for Ireland and try getting a letter from them. I’ll pray for you. Insha’ALLAH yoh will get it. 🤲🏻😀

Ive heard that if your application is sent via Priority Service and you get informed that a decision has been made then you should get told to collect your passport pretty much the next day but thats only if your application is successful.

Looking at safinas case I think thats true

Ive heard that if your application is sent via Priority Service and you get informed that a decision has been made then you should get told to collect your passport pretty much the next day but thats only if your application is successful.

Looking at safinas case I think thats true
Where is ur information that if its priorty and its not sent next day for collection then its not successful??
where is ur proof of other cases like this.
Why wud a rejected case take longer even??
iv not even heard back from my case yet

Today has been 44 working days after my wife did her bio metric and my wife applied for non-priority service. Is it worth calling UK Visa and Immigration call centre about status of Spouse Visa? What kind of detail they can give to me if I call them?
Is 0203 481 1736 the number to call at call centre? I know the call cost £1.37 per minute.
