A single pdf containing all the pages in the passport is the proof of application.
Although, it may not make sense, that's the way it is :)

Scan every page, including the front and inside covers, and the blank pages.

My wife had three passports. One of which is so new it hasn't even been used, but we still had to scan every single blank page.

It's tedious, but just do it. You don't want to risk a delayed application. Do as one multi-page PDF document. One file each per passport.

I did my scan with 300 dpi. UKVCAS confirmed the scan quality was good.
If you are using a higher dpi (600, for example), you can try reducing it to 300. If it still doesn't work, try uploading the passports in two files - part 1 and part 2.

if you are saving scan files as .bmp you can try saving as .png or .jpg which should be less than 6mb.

There is no strict order/category though mine is different category below is what I had done.

Cover Letter or anything you’re not sure about can go into other category.

IlR BRP and passport copies into proof of Application.

Nothing is needed for Residence —your passport is proof for 3/5 year residency.

English/Life in UK can go into Education category

Referees and your SA docs can go into sponsor section.

Unless you’re applying under marriage or for kids you can ignore Life events otherwise kids birth certificates and or marriage certificate

You can ignore medical unless you’re claiming language exemptions.

At least in our case, UKVCAS scanned passport and uploaded under proof of identity/ travel history.

Remember after biometrics, UKVCAS upload your passport scans even you uploaded but it gives you confidence if you also upload the passport scans (this needs to cover your qualifying period 3/5 years)

There is no guidance provided on the sections where each document must be uploaded.
If you are unsure, you can add them to the "other" section.

Let me share my experience

Post by khlid77 » Thu Feb 14, 2019 11:01 pm

First of all thanks to all those lovely peoples
Who helped me out
I'm sharing maybe it will help someone
From online AN application to UKVCAS documents uploading
I'm sharing my experience what I have done
The question
1-have you made any previous
Immigration application. Yes
Mentioned all previous applications from
Very first to ILR
2-Print two referees form and for both of referee You need the photo form with your name and DOB on the back side and glue it
With the form
I mean you need two photo forms one for each referee this was toled by the lady in UKVCAS .

3- documents uploading to UKVCAS

In Proof of application section
I have done the following
BRP
Current valid passport

Other . Cover later

Residence in the U.K. Proof of address / I have uploaded. Tax return.

Sponsors / employment. SA statement And
Referee declaration forms

Proof of identity / travel history. All my three
Passport 2 expired and 1 current each and every age scanned and uploaded by me

Educational. B1 English and life in the U.K.

The lady in UKVCAS toled me that you have done good job is and enough good. Quality
Nothing more
the UKVCAS website dont accept files more than 6mb. So what I have done uploaded two parts of each passport.

I hope it will help someone who need help
Like how I was looking for help
If someone need more info I will try reply

Note: this is just my experience I'm not a solicitor.

And please pray for my approval Thanks

Any idea what can I add as Residence in the U.K. Proof of address proof for full time permanent employee? One who does not do tax returns or SA?

All passports with entry stamps should be sufficient for proof of residence.

Is this a big mistake ?

Post by khlid77 » Thu Feb 21, 2019 2:27 am

Have you met the requirement to qualify for
settlement on or after 28th October 2013?
I clicked YES.
And AN online form when i clicked yes they didn't asked for Test Number or anything's but I have Already uploaded all documents including the English B1 Certificate and life in the uk to UKVCAS Site . And Submited AN online form last week and also had appointment for Biometrics last week at UKVCAS
is this a big mistake is this could be a ground for refusal?
I'm PR holder and now I realized for PR Holder need to Click NO.
What I need to do next ?
Any advice please. Thanks in advance
