Just called them today and was told it’s in the final stage waiting to be submitted. They mentioned due to Brexit there is a long queue for submission, so I may need to wait for a while before they get to my batch.

My apologies I meant to ask the user above who received second letter in November. Good luck with your application though 😌

Hi all, with all due respect, Could we please keep the posts here for the first ceremony of 2019. If you require any updates regarding your application you can follow up in the posts designated for that.
Back to the main subject of this post, could anyone advise if they have received any information regarding the expected date of the ceremony?
Thanks

Hi everyone
I rang them today and they told me next ceremony could be in April but have no date yet. And soon they will get the date of the ceremony they will start to send batch of files to minister. So 🤞🏻 For those who are on final stage. :D

Same story here as well, called today, I was told that the next Ceremony is in April, the exact date is not yet finalized though, but it will be very likely to be in April.

Called INIS today.
"April ceremony is fully booked. If your application is not yet approved, best case scenario - ceremony at the end of 2019"

But, there is no infirmation on inis website..I believe they did not even send approval letters since last ceremony.Yes there might be some people got their approval before the and were not lucky to attend the previous ceremony..but can they be 3000??Usually April ceremony is a big one.

I received approval in August, but didn’t make it to November ceremony as it was fully booked. They prioritize people who applied earlier, rather than how fast they were processed. I applied in May 2018 and was approved in August 2018.
There is a good chance there are 3000 ppl in the same boat as myself, who didn’t get invite to the past ceremony

I haven't been on this forum since I got my passport last year but my wife applied for her citizenship 14 months ago (immediately after I got mine) and we haven't received any update since her 2nd stage letter which was received in July last year. Just to mention she applied on 6+ years residency basis.

We were trying to call them today to get an update on the application and also to ask if there is a date set for the next ceremony. We called a few times but nobody picked up the phone.

So I came here to get an update and just saw this post that the next ceremony is fully booked!

It sounds a bit odd considering there is no date for the next ceremony on the INIS website. Just wondering what the story is and if anyone else has been able to talk to them today with regard to ceremony dates?

Ok, we finally got through on the call as well after numerous attempts and were told exactly the same as you both. "Application is in process and there is no update. No date for ceremony decided yet".

I wonder when will they announce the date of citizenship ceremony if it’s going to be in April I think it should have been announced by now?
