Tier 2 dependant UK visa working spouse Indian for schegan visa

Hi
I am on tier 2 dependant visa in the UK and am currently working.
I want to apply for visa with French embassy and I read that the marriage certificate needs to be submitted with some attestation. I have my original marriage certificate in English and we have a daughter with our names as parents in her passport. Is the attestation mandatory if yes what is the procedure to get it done?
We have valid BRP and visa valid up to Nov,19
