Citizenship ceremony and Passport application

Post by shankar981 » Wed Feb 20, 2019 11:18 pm

My wife is attending the citizenship ceremony on Saturday (private one). She is planning to apply for the passport using online application form. Can she apply immediately or should we allow some time for the council to inform Home office that the ceremony has been completed? Appreciate your response.

She can apply immediately after ceremony.

The council notifying HO etc is only relevant to those who applied for the joint AN citizenship and passport application scheme.
