Hello Immigration Board Team,

I have booked my appointment for ILR application with priority option.

My question is the person who will take my bio metirc & pictures will check my documents as well to make sure everything is in there system which I bring with myself?

& if he or she think something is missing will scan on the spot?

Kinds regards

Please note they will only check your documents against the checklist which you have for documents. in case if there are any additional supporting documents which you would like to include its better to scan them online.

Thank you for getting back to me.

Everything was uploaded by my solicitor
But found some error in cover letter and now solicitor is on holidays.
I can correct the cover letter but have no access to online portal.
Can I ask the home office attendant to verify all documents in online system with my check list?

Or home office attendant can't upload anything?

The ukcvas centres and staff are NOT home office employees or staff. Ukcvas is a third party agent.

Hi,

I am in same boat as you, I spoke to UKVCAS today, they confirmed that they can upload the documents on your behalf. I am heading to croydon tomorrow for ilr submission and they confirmed they will not charge for the service.

Hi,

My experience of the process has been fantastic, I had 11:30 appointment, but I got there by 10:30. They gave us a token for Bio metrics enrolment. We had to wait around 10 mins before we were called. Once Biometrics were taken they realised that we hadn't uploaded any documents, so they requested all the documents for scans. They scanned all the documents on our behalf, they followed the document checklist that HO had given us. Once all the mandatory documents were scanned they asked us if we want to scan any other supporting documents, that is when we requested them to upload the Cover letter & some misc documents. Once all the docs were scanned they submitted the application to HO around 11:00 am. Within 30 mins we were finished with our appointment
As I paid for Super Priority service, we received (solicitor) an email confirming that ILR has been granted by 2:30 pm. I think the biggest advantage we had was that we didn't upload any documents and that made the process even faster. Best of luck to you and I hope you have very smooth experience.

Regards

My nephew had uploaded everything for his wife's FLR(M) but when they attended their appointment, they were told they should have uploaded their daughters' birth certificates. The staff at Sopra Steria were happy to upload them so I don’t think you will have any problem at all with them uploading anything extra you need uploaded at your appointment.
