My solicitor posted today that people she appplied for on the 16/01/19 got their responses today, shockingly still waiting for peoples responses whom she appplied for in Oct,NoV,Dec.Inis said they are considering applications in chronological order..so looks like their chronological order means last in first out

It appears INIS is an inefficient organisation. How does it even make sense to process applications submitted in January while ignoring those submitted in Oct-Dec? I understand it's just paperwork to the INIS staff but there are real people with real-life problems waiting on them to reach a decision so they can move on with their lives.

I applied on that date and nothing yet. How come a solicitor applied for them? Would that a make a difference? I thought you had to apply yourself only using the portal.

I would have gotten a solicitor if I had known.

regarding change of status, I think they are mainly against eu fam stamp 4. we have seen that when new scheme was introduced, many people who had applied in section 4 got their replies very quick. according to xxxxxxx on her Facebook page, some people who had changed status have got stamp1 one year visas and others who had changed status to eu fam stamp 4 are being told that they have changed status, therefore; they are not eligible. I know myself that after the new scheme was introduced, many people whose cases were in section 4 , some of them people who changed to eufam weren't even successful in section 4 and some people who had their status changed to stamp 1 work permit have got stamp1 one year visas. i think in general people who have changed to eufam are being rejected, others who have stamp 1 work permit might go through.

I believe scheme shoul have covered all students who lawfully came to ireland between 2005 to 2010. they are trying to pick and choose people on different silly criteria. in this way the more some one is living longer Olin ireland, the less are chance to fulfill the requirements. for example, if some one comes to ireland in 2010, and other comes to ireland in 2005. they are expecting same from both 2 students. it would be possible for 2010 person that he would have not changed his status till now, but how can it would be possible for a 2005 person to have not changed his status after 15 years. its unbelievable that in a scheme older people have less chances than newer people.

Seems like it’s gonna take ages! You’d think with the application being online it would be faster but no.

I’m hassling the mail man everyday when I see him. Anything for me?????!?
