What does Restricted work in TIER 2 ICT Visa say?

Hi all,

I constantly get negative response in my job application so far, I have done mandatory points like, posting resume in the UK format, applying for most relevant JD, etc.

Hence I like to check my another doubt, do I have right Visa to Work in the UK?

I like to know couple of things:
1. Can a Dependent work if they have "Tier 2 ICT Visa"? If yes, please tell what kind of jobs are those?
2. What should I do to get minimum work experience (at-least 2-3months work experience in Manufacturing Industry) ?

My case: I have around 7 years experience in Manufacturing industry and key skills related to Operations and VD.

Pls help!!

1. Yes you can do any work except work as a doctor or dentist in training.

2. Depends where you are located and what manufacturing facilities are in your area. Perhaps start at a lower level job to get a foot in the door. Try various employment agencies.

You have to start low and prove yourself in the UK.

In my recent conversation with one of a recruiter, mentioned that Job types (like permanent/contract) will be mentioned by government but I am not able to find them in the below websites:

As an ICT dependent, you can do permanent, temporary or fixed term contract work. There is no restriction other than what I have already mentioned.
