We escalated to the UKVI centre with no response, and then after 10 weeks through out MP. 2 days after our MP contacted the Home Office the decision was made. No explanation given for delay.

Impressions:
I never received any approval email or postal letter saying my leave was approved or the decision was taken. Home office seems to send this approval email or letter randomly.
I directly received my new BRP by post.

Terrible experience, they made the mistake of asking for documents that I had provided since the beginning and they have admitted the mistake.

14 weeks after from biometrics enrolment I got the BRP - 26th of February 2019  

Never received a letter or email of approval.
