Urgent help reg Police clearance certificate Pakistan

Post by Enigma123 » Mon Mar 25, 2019 2:03 pm

Greetings all. I was asked to submit uptodate police clearance certificate from Pakistan after my stage 1 of natrilization. My question is that in the police ce certificate they mention stay period. So should the stay period be from birth to till date. Or should it be from birth till the time I left Pakistan and moved to Ireland which would be 2013 ? Not sure what inis meant by uptodate certificate. Do they mean the recent issuing date. The issuing date would be new but not sure what to time under period of stay
Regards

Hi Enigma123
When did you apply for naturalisation and did you get your second stage letter?

Thanks bro. Actually I had clearance certificate from 2013 amd dates 2013 and when I submit that they asked me to submit upto date. So I presume with upto date they meant the latest issue date? The stay period should still be till the time I left Pakistan which is 2013. The holiday trip to Pakistan shouldn’t change the stay period. Right ? Sorry I just want to be sure that I make it right as it very difficult to make it

They only ask for police certificate from Pakistan. I suppose the confusion I had was that I already submitted a police clearance certificate from 2013 but they want updated one. Although the duration of stay is Pakistan is still the same ie 2013 but I guess they want a new certificate with latest issue date. Otherwise the stay in Pakistan won’t be different in this new police certificate and the old one from 2013

May I ask you if Pakistan is your home country, or you lived there just for some time?
