@littlerr,@missstamper,@ash_g, congratulations on your approval.. I've a situation here, could you please advise?
I've received my approval today and I'm looking to send the IRP/950/Photos tmrw morning...But the thing is that have a planned travel on Mar25th(travelling to my home country) and returning in a week's time back to Ireland and the travel is quite important. Is this fine? Can i travel without the IRP card? I have re-entry visa until 2020 and can I show the approval copy if the Immigration officer questions me about my IRP card.. Please let me know....Many thanks.

Regards.

Congrats, Ash!! It seems they finally started working in those Oct 17 applications. And yours went so quick from 2nd stage to approval, just shows that we were in a big pile that hadnt been touched at all!

So, according to my theory, they send approvals every 10 days, because of St Patricks this was delayed, so the last batch of approval is probably on the 29th of March (posting date). And they should start sending out the invitations after that too.

Yes sure you can. Just have your re-entry visa and this approval letter with you. May be good to have a copy of the IRP as well.

Yes in two weeks time if I don't hear anything from them as in invitation letter, I will send them an email saying this ceremony is important to me etc etc and I wanna know if I can attend. Because it happened for my mum, one week before the ceremony she emails them because they didn't send an invitation letter and in a day of two they sent it out. So I'd email if u haven't got the invite it's worth a shot

I'm also travelling end of start of May, so I'll have have my approval letter cause I'm stamp4eufam

Hello Guys,

How do we contact TD to help us with our applications for update via Email, Phone or Office appointment? "Please advise from whoever had done it"

I have applied for the citizenship on November 2017, got my reference number and paid the fee and all and since then on 10th March 2019 after those long waiting months, they asked me to submit only a copy of my passport signature page (Which they had in the first time not sure why they asked me to send it again :( ).

So far, I have heard nothing from them after I provided them the copy.

My application based on 5 years residence and EUFAM

I probably contact TD to get a proper update because could not reach them via email or phone :(

Thanks

Congratulations to everyone who got their approval.. i m still waiting and think i have to wait more 6 months without any reason. Last week lady over the phone told me everything is done final check has been done but still is not with the minister and she clearly states that i am not lucky enough to get approval before this ceremony. I think they are not going to send more files to the minister.. so good luck everyone .

Absolutely Ecstatic!

Came home from my hols to a lovely letter asking fro my photographs and the 950 EURO bank draft!
Letter is dated the 19th March 2019. It's been a long time coming! Congratulations to all those who have received and good luck to all those still waiting, hold in there!

Overview of my timeline is as follows:
Applied Oct 2017
Second Stage Letter October 2018
Approval and Bankers Draft Request March 2019

Last two letters were from processing team 2 for those who are following that. ALL THE BEST!!!

Some people had their approvals dated ..19/20/21/25 .Do you have any idea uf the minister typically signs the approvals on the specific dates or do you think approvals signed on one day and the secretary office then sends every day a qouta..I am trying to guess if there is a chance fir more approvals to come in post.Just trying to touch a hope.

I think large volume of Applications go to the Minster in one go and when they come back to citizenship office they send it out within 2-3 days with different dates.

I think last batch of Approvals are on the way. I sent my updated Gnib/IRP card to them on 19/03/2019 and wrote a letter with it asking if I will make the April Ceremony. I got a letter from them Dated on 22/03/2019 saying that they got my documents and I will hear from them “Shortly “regarding my Application. The word “shortly” has given me hope that more Approvals are on the way and the letter was from processing team 1.
