Hello
My partner was granted an eea2 in April 2015. He applied in October 2014. He was reliant as an over 21 dependent of his father since his father arrived in the UK in March 2014.
He is now applying for settlement. My understanding is that we will need to show that he was dependant between March 2014 and April 2015. Problem is, he was dependant because he had no legal status in the UK so had no bank account, job etc so his dad was helping him, but there's nothing on the bank statements except him buying food clothes etc. This stuff was for my partner but obv it's not a transaction into a bank account etc.
My question is really should we just upload the statements and apply or put "I can't provide evidence" and speak to a caseworker?

Yes. The caseworker will let you know what other documentation you can supply.
My posts express what I believe are the facts, based on the best of my knowledge, about the topics discussed in this forum. They do not constitute immigration advice.

Hello
We submitted my partner's settlement application with additional evidence re 5 years continuous residence etc but still haven't heard anything. We are due to give notice for our wedding in a couple of weeks (his father is his eu sponsor) so i'm not sure whether to just say we'll take pre settled or hold out hopefully to hear back about settled as I think pre settled they will have to refer to home office and then potentially extend notice to 70 days so we can't actually get married on our wedding..
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
