SCHENGEN VISA

Hi,
I am a doctor now involved in international critical care transfer of patients.
I need a schengen visa, long term and multiple entry to work efficiently.
however i am confused with the tyoe of visa selection - not tourismor business.
medical seems to be the closest to the above, but it also seems this is for those seeeking treating abrod.
what option should i choose.
can i also fill a new form if medical isnt the best option.
