LIUK is ONLY required for ILR and British Citizenship.

You only need to make sure you have English A2 for your extension and NOT the A1 test.

You need English A2 for the extension.

You can only use an expired test if it is at the A2 level AND it is a test and test centre that is still on the HO approved list.

The certificate clearly states A1 or A2.
If you’re not sure, post a photo of it but hide personal details and certificate reference number.

HI All,

I am new to this, I need some advice with English Exam Test,

We have UKNARIC letter obtain in March 2016 which is confirming the MBA Degree is equivalent to UK Master Degree,

Can we use the same UKNARIC letter for first FLR(M) extension or do we have to clear A2 exam ?

Thanks for your help and advice.

This looks to be a General Training exam result.

Some members have reported visa refusal because they took General Training instead of the list of exams (at the required test centres) per https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... 5.2019.pdf

I think the main issue is the UKVI number on the test which enable HO to verify and if the test doesn't have that then I think HO don't consider it because HO recommended tests all carry that number.

A2 for an extension or you can do B1 which is for ILR.

A1 has been the minimum requirement for a number of years now, so highly likely that it was required when you initially applied for a spouse visa.

Why are you applying for an extension if you have held FLR(M) visa since July 2014?? Why are you not applying for ILR on SET M??

A2 results usually arrive in 7 days. A2 test usually be lasted for 20 minutes, whereas B1 test last for 22 minutes. Therefore, best would be to do B1 which will also facilitate in further stages too.

There is NO absence limit for spouse settlement visa holders. It is only PBS Dependents who have absence limits.

Not sure who advised you that you don't qualify for ILR. This is why it is usually useful to continue in previous topics so that members have all the circumstances and previous advice given.

Pls don't pm me for advice, post in public.

You have been given the same advice numerous times. Not sure what else you are expecting!! Asking the same question over and over will not change the answer regarding no absence limit.

Applying for extension visa and we have spend around two years outside uk but been together all this while. Home office requires a letter to be submitted where a family member or friend confirms we have been living together during this period as a married couple.
Need to know the letter should be written on a plain paper of what
Does it need to signed off by any official. I am talking about India as we been there.
Please advice

Hi Everyone,

I am new to this forum so sorry if my question is repeated or in another thread.

I wanted to ask if anyone has any advice - I will be applying for FLR (M) extension next month but have just seen the requirement for English language. My wife is a doctor, after entering the UK she sat the PLAB 1 and PLAB 2 exams and passed, and has been registered on the GMC since November 2017. Would she still need to do an IELTS exam to prove language, or would they accept her GMC registration as a sign of competent english language?

Appreciate the advice!

Thanks

Salman
