Hi,

If I were you I would write a letter to Spouse of Irish National Unit ASAP as your Stamp is expiring in 4 months and they can take a while to get back to you with a decision and you would be left without and stamp waiting.
Write a letter to
Spouse of Irish National Unit (SIN/SOIN)
Residence Division - Units 5 and 6
Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service
Department of Justice and Equality
PO Box 12695
Ireland
stating you did notify the Citizenship Department. You would be then stating your situation, change of circumstance, change of address, currently applying for citizenship, recently separated from your wife, in the hope you could apply for independence residence while awaiting citizenship.
Hope this helps.

I wonder what reason they will give to refuse my application. We were not getting along well with each other and it was stressing both of us out so one day she decided to ask me to leave and I left. No one else involved and there was no other reason than we were not happy together. I am looking in to how to get legally separated.
Well they don't have to give a reason (and I don't think they normally do)

Yes your correct they are not obliged to give a reason....but the more I think it's unfair of me to try get natrilzation through my marraige now we are seperated I see that now.so zeus I suppose out of respect for your ex wife and your marraige ending you should apply through your own rights at least then you have done it the moral way
