Settled status or permanent residence.

Post by albertc93 » Thu May 02, 2019 8:17 am

Hi everyone, I've been in the UK(EU citizen) for around 5 years and 5 months. During this time I studied and worked during summer break. Should I apply for settled status or try to apply for permanent residence with a sponsor(because I don't have 5 years of work). Any difference between the two ?
Thanks,

Settled Status can take 2 hours to 2 weeks ... EEA Permanent Residence can even take 4 months and they would like to see your working history for 5 years

so better apply SETTLED STATUS. it's simple / it's quick and will be valid even after UK leave the EU
UK Student Visa : 04/2004 - 09/2009
EEA Residence Card : 07/2010 - 7/2015
EU Settled Status: Confirmed on 16th July 2019
Naturalisation : Confirmed on 02nd Oct 2020
Passport Approval : 21st Feb 2021
