Children 2 year old fund questions

Post by Eva L » Sat May 11, 2019 12:03 pm

Hi,

Me and my husband both have EU settle status,
We have a baby, we want to apply for 2 year free 15 hours childcare to her, can we apply it ? Is it influence the British citizenships if we want to apply after that?

What requires of the 2 year old fund :

Our situation: I am housewife. No income
I willing to work when my baby 2 year old.
My husband work full time.

Can we get the 2 year old fund for our baby ?

Thank you

Post by Eva L » Sat May 11, 2019 12:08 pm

Hi,

Me and my husband both EU settle status,
If we want to apply for universal credit for our baby for the child care fee, what require we need please ?

is it 85% childcare fee paid by government?
If we both working,
My wage is lower than £16000 per year,
My husband wage is over £16000 per year less than £50000, do we qualify to the universal credit please ?
Any other requires?

Many thanks

Under the Welfare Reforms, you have to be willing to prepare for work when the child is age 1 and will be required to attend the job centre. Both parents must work and keep their children so that they will no longer need benefits. Universal Credit claimants can see on their online account, how soon they will be off benefits and keeping their family themselves.

IF you quailfy for Universal Credit, then you might get up to 85% of childcare paid.
https://www.gov.uk/universal-credit/you ... sibilities

If you need help with childcare costs: up to 85% of your costs (up to £646.35 for one child and £1,108.04 for 2 or more children)

Use the benefit calculators
