No EU spouse traveling to eu country with valid permit but expired passport

Hello,

We just noticed that my husband passport is expired and we are supposed to travel this weekend. Do you know if it is possible to travel with expired passport but valid resident permit card ?

You need a valid passport to travel in and out of a country. A residence permit is not sufficient.
